RFR Immortalized at Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

By Jimmy Mac

With construction moving full forward on Disney's "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" park expansion, and the big reveals at D23, fans are anticipating opening day in 2019 like never before! We feel the same here at RFR and we cannot wait to visit it ourselves.

There will be a large "rock" formation which can be seen in the photo of the park model below. This will be the highest point within Galaxy's Edge. Look where the arrows are pointing:

At Disneyland, in one of the employee parking lots, management placed a section of steel beams that will make up the top of the highest rock formation in Galaxy's Edge. Disneyland employees got an opportunity to add their signature or "graffiti".  Many took advantage of this offer:

Among those in attendance was Disney Parks cast member Anthony Castigliano who couldn't help taking advantage of this opportunity to be "a part of Disneyland Resort and Star Wars history!" But Anthony is also a loyal long-time Rebel Force Radio listener and when it came time for him to wield the marker, he decided to pay tribute to RFR!

Anthony tells us "I just had to commemorate the best podcast in the galaxy." Wow! Thanks Anthony for the honor. We hear there will be a topping off ceremony soon to install the beam.  We will update you when it happens.

American Graffiti indeed!
