This is a rare interview with Darth Vader actor David Prowse at Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis back in 2005. Mr. Prowse was promoting his new book “Straight From The Force’s Mouth” and was his usual outspoken self. David Prowse sat down with us at Star Wars Fan Days 2 to answer questions about a pair of wacky stories involving the legendary Darth Vader actor, Kenny Baker’s car, and a porno film.

In this archive interview, recorded during a private party at Star Wars Fan Days II in Dallas, David speaks candidly about his contributions to the original trilogy, his strained relationship with Lucasfilm due to revealing spoilers about The Empire Strikes Back, and his tumultuous relationship with Return of the Jedi director Richard Marquand.

In 2012, The Star Wars legend joined us for a very candid conversation revealing many strong opinions about living life as Darth Vader, his relationship with Lucasfilm, and having his voice replaced in the final edit of the original STAR WARS.
